The initial inception of Kava Roots began a long way from its current home in Billings, Montana. While our founder was in Florida for an MMA fight camp, he wandered into their first kava bar hoping to find a place to relax and unwind without the negative physical effects associated with alcohol. After enjoying the products and becoming a regular at the Florida kava bar, he decided that we needed a similar place at home in Billings.

In 2020, Kava roots was opened with the intention of creating a social getaway for all walks of life to unwind and recharge. And that is exactly what we have become. What started as friends and family listening to us sell them on drinking MUD water, has become a flourishing community that is passionate about the positive effects that kava has had on their lives.
